Come join us on Saturday 2nd May as we launch our new age statement rum that we are keeping top secret until launch day.
We started making rum nearly 4 years ago so this has been a long time in the making & we are almost ready to share it with you all.

The distillery doors are open to take a look around & our head distiller will be on hand to offer a tasting of our new rum.
The bar will be open from 12pm all day for drinks, featuring a short cocktail menu based around our new rum. The pizza oven will be on the terrace serving a special jerk chicken pizza.

Free to attend, dog friendly as always. We hope to see you there to celebrate with us!

Last year we collected 2 tonnes of apples from around Abingdon that were going to waste and put them to good use. The apples were mulched & pressed for their juice which we fermented for 2 weeks into a cider. The cider was then distilled in Big Phil to create a crisp apple spirit which we have aged for 12 months in ex-whisky casks.

This orchard spirit captures the true terroir of Oxfordshire apples using 16 different varieties from the 2023 harvest season.

An explosion of crisp green apple, apple pie & toffee on the palate backed up with a delicious oak toastiness & spice with great depth.

Students will discover the Master Blender within themselves, blending their own unique signature bottle of rum to take home using our collection of cask aged rums. As this academy is after hours, you’ll also get 3 rum cocktails throughout the evening.

This is a British rum first! Unlike any rum experience available in the UK, our distillery offers a diverse range of rum profiles to blend with. Our inventory includes rum aged in ex-bourbon, Islay, brandy, Moscatel, virgin oak varieties & sherry varieties.

Your unique rum recipe will even be kept on file at our distillery so you can order another bottle of your masterpiece in the future. The Rum Academy lasts approx 2hrs in total. Our booking calendar shows availability for the next 60 days ahead.
