Our award-winning London Dry gin is laid down with fresh wild sloe berries hand-picked from the Oxfordshire countryside and left to macerate for a minimum of 4 months. This time consuming process results is a delicious ruby red liquid bursting with flavour that is definitely worth the wait for. We don’t add sugar at the start as this prevents the natural sugars of the sloes moving into the gin, we sweeten to taste just before bottling with no artificial colours, flavourings or sloe concentrate added. This gin is all about the sloes.
Tasting Notes –
Nose: Powerful sweet spices, cherry & plum.
Palate: Tart redcurrant & cassis, clove & hints of almond
Finish: Smooth mouthfeel with a balanced sweetness at the end
Signature Serve – This is the perfect winter warmer & can be sipped neat. You can also add a splash to a glass of Champagne to create a Sloe Gin Royale. Build tall over ice with lemon tonic & a slice of orange for a refreshing long drink in the summer.
